They will be tasked with ensuring the day runs smoothly by assisting and coordinating vendors, waitstaff, and the bridal party.

They perform the following duties, escorting guests to the ceremony site on the on-site shuttle, bustling the bride’s dress, cutting the wedding cake, and assisting with the timing of the entire event! The newlywed couple is the first priority for the hostess, as they will assist them with anything they may need pertaining to the hall.


A hostess is a complimentary day-of wedding coordinator who arrives two hours prior to the event.

WEDDING HOSTESS

  • It is important that our hostesses are detailed-oriented, well organized, friendly, and excellent problem-solvers.

Part-time, Weekends

During a wedding, they work hand-in-hand with the hostess to ensure that both the newlyweds and their guests are taken care of. With any event, their main task is to follow the event timeline (provided by a venue coordinator) to ensure that the event runs smoothly and according to what was decided upon by the client.

They are expected to lead the waitstaff, who will be serving at the event, by delegating tasks and working directly alongside them. Here are some of the duties they perform, ensuring safe food handling, food presentation, leading staff through meal service, making sure tables are correctly set, dirty dishware is being collected, etc.



This staff member is considered “the party’s manager” for the duration of the event.

HEAD OF WAITSTAFF

  • It is important that our Heads are friendly, communicate clearly, and work efficiently.

Part-time, Weekends

They are tasked with following the Head’s lead and servicing event guests directly.

Some of their tasks during an event include assisting with food and table prep, serving plated dinners and hors d'oeuvres to guests, replenishing self-served beverages, and clearing used dishware from guest tables. After the completion of an event, they are expected to clean the venue space and prep room, assist with inventory, and assist with any other closeout tasks.



These staff members are as equally important as the Hostess and Head of Waitstaff.

WAITSTAFF

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  • It is important that our waitstaff be personable, efficient, and quick learners along with being able to work in a fast paced environment.

Part-time, Weekends

Our bartenders are expected to be friendly and courteous towards guests, while also following important guest safety procedures.

Important tasks our bartenders must follow include: being able to work in a fast paced environment, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, checking customers identification to confirm they are of legal drinking age, and complying with beverage regulations.




This member of our team is one who guests will interact the most with throughout the event. 

BARTENDERS

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • It is important that our bartenders be friendly, efficient, and excellent communicators.

Part-time, Weekends

Members of our set up team are expected to pay close attention to detail of how tables are to be set and what items are needed for each venue space. We expect our crew to handle some heavy lifting, however, this is not a disqualifier.



This staff member works behind the scenes, to make sure each event space is set according to the specifications laid out by a Nazareth Hall Venue Coordinator and the client.

Set-up Crew

  • It is important that our set-up crew members be efficient, self-motivated and excellent communicators

Full-time, Part-time, Weekends

The housekeeper will perform detailed work to maintain the outstanding image of the Hall.

Duties include maintaining sanitary restrooms, vacuuming and polishing floors, occasionally assisting with laundry, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning general areas, and preparing the Chapel and other important rooms for upcoming weddings.





This staff member will work diligently to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for Nazareth Hall patrons. 

Housekeeper

  • It is important that our house keeper be efficient, self-motivated and thorough in work

Full Time, Weekdays & Weekends

The prep cook will help create an efficient and safe environment throughout the culinary operation of the Nazareth Hall Kitchen.

In addition to assisting with the catering preparation of events, their responsibilities include helping ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishware, silverware and cookware in a clean and sanitized condition. This job requires that the employee keep the dishwashing machine station, three-compartment sink, and related areas clean.




Entry-level cooking and dishwashing position under the supervision of the Executive Chef Eric and Sous Chef Larry. 

KITCHEN CREW
